Was born and raised in Claremore, OK. Nathan was a “Claremore Zebra” and graduated from Claremore High School in 2015.

Following high school, he went on to complete his undergraduate degree at John Brown University. He earned a degree in Business Finance while also receiving a double minor in biology and chemistry. Outside of his academics, Nathan played college tennis for JBU and even served as the team captain his senior year.

It was during Nathan’s time in college he decided to pursue the field of optometry. Nathan studied optometry in Tahlequah, OK at the NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry. During his time in Optometry School, Nathan became involved in the American Optometric Student Association and even went on to become the National Vice-President during his fourth year.

Nathan enjoys being back in the Claremore area and getting to work alongside his dad, Eric Kuykendall. As a board-certified optometrist, he is passionate about leadership and how technology can be used to create a better patient care experience.

Outside of the clinic, Nathan enjoys spending time being active outside with his wife, Emily, and their daughter. You can catch them riding bikes, playing tennis/pickleball, or going on walks!
